The German Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC), Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD), Inc. (A Microfinance NGO) A member of CARD MRI and the CARD Myanmar COMPANY LIMITED will continue to cooperate on the joint partnership project after signing another three-year agreement covering the period of April 2018 to March 2021. The overall goal is to contribute to poverty reduction and economic development by providing improved and demand oriented financial services.
The Ceremonial Signing was held in CARD Myanmar COMPANY LIMITED Head Office in Mingaladon, Yangon, Myanmar last June 22, 2018. Present in the contract signing were representatives from CARD, Inc. and CARD MRI, Ms. Flordeliza Sarmiento – CARD MRI Managing Director, CARD Myanmar CO. LTD, Ms. Jean Pauline Landicho – Chairman of Board and Mr. Carl Pagayunan – General Manager, together with the representatives from SBFIC, Dr. Ilonka Rühle Stern – Deputy Managing Director and Ms. Antje Kinder, Long Term Expert assigned for Myanmar.
This is the 6th year of continuous cooperation of SBFIC, CARD, Inc. (A Microfinance NGO)/ CARD MRI and CARD Myanmar COMPANY LIMITED. directing towards “Strengthening the Microfinance Network in Vietnam, Lao PDR and Myanmar.”
